Husband's Sister and Niece Evicted After They Hide Cancer Patient Wife's Wig in Cruel "Prank"

A humiliated wife locked herself crying in the bathroom following a cruel "prank" that was played on her by her niece and sister-in-law. When her husband arrived home, he was swift in his retribution and sent his sister and her daughter packing.

This story was posted to Reddit's r/AmItheAsshole subreddit by the husband, Redditor, u/throwaway350965, after reacting to his sister's actions; seeking the opinions of the subreddit's readers to determine if he was in the wrong for his actions.

An account name such as this is an indicator of a "Throwaway" account, which will sometimes be less obvious and use a string of numbers or words. After all, sometimes, your online identity can compromise your day job. Specific stories about people being compromised and connected to their "Solitary Enthusiast" accounts come to mind.

It's hard to fault the husband's actions here. His sister's "prank" crossed too many lines to count. She violated her brother and his wife's trust and made a mockery of their hospitality. She showed her true nature with these actions and the couple will be better off without her, and anyone who enables her, in their lives.
